Toddler & Preschool Artists offers art exploration activities for children 1-4 years. This program is designed to develop their sensory, fine and gross motor skills. Children will organically learn about color, texture and more while experimenting with new, engaging materials. This class is not instructor led. Instead, we set up multiple art stations, and children choose the activity and duration of time engaged in art play. Activities include finger painting (plus tools), playdough modeling (plus poke-ins), wheel and roller painting, easel art and more! Wear your old clothes because this class gets messy 🙂

There’s no additional purchase required and you can choose to sign up for a Single Class or for the entire 8-Week Session.

● Promotes development of fine motor skills

– Supernatural Trivia and Other Games geared to children from 3:30 until 6:30PM. Then things will get really interesting as teens and adults take the lead. Yes, there will be a trivia game about the Supernatural TV Show because who doesn’t dig Sam and Dean Winchester? And more fun themed Trivia sessions!

– Witch’s Costume Contest- kids, teens, and adults. Are you a good witch, a cute witch, a green witch, a witch character, or the baddest witch in town? Only time and imagination will tell. Judges decisions are terminal, uh, final. Yeah final. We’ll go with that.

Zombie Zone – Cure the outbreak or make a break for the exits when you fail…this could be a really seriously fun escape! Be a zombie or a human, at least for the time being. It’s a combination escape room and zombie run.

– Campfires – Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble….Fire burn and cauldron bubble. What is more needful on a chill autumn night than a fire? And really, without a fire, how can you toast a marshmallow? Enjoy a specialty brew around the fire while toasting, boasting or roasting.

– Signature Drinks & Delicious Food

– AND MORE!

Eat, Drink, and Make Merry

This is a fundraiser for The Grant Park Foundation. 100% of funds raised go back into local projects.

The Grant Park Foundation 501c3 not-for-profit was formed last year. The idea was to raise money to support projects in the village including erecting/maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works, combating community deterioration, and lessening the burdens of government. Additionally, we also work to lessen neighborhood tensions, and advance community education and training.

Open Studio - Drop In DIY Art @ Little Me Studio

Open Studio is a super fun drop-in creative time for kids and now adults too!!

Every project we offer is an invitation to create – meaning we present your child with the materials and allow them the freedom to interpret those materials as they choose within a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Playing and interacting with the materials is encouraged! Collaboration is awesome! A studio employee is on site to guide children and replenish supplies, but there is no instruction offered during Open Studio. This time is strictly child-led and imagination driven.

Projects include: canvas painting, wood sign minis, mason jars, t-shirts, picture frames, ceramics and more! All items are reasonably priced so families can come back and enjoy studio time again and again!

No Advance Registration Needed
Pay per project.

$10.00 8″ x 10″ pencil sketch canvas
$7.00 3.5″ x 6″ wood sign + stencil
$9.00 3.5″ x 8″ wood sign + stencil

Your child’s art can be as challenging and in depth or as free-spirited and fun as he/she desires it to be.

No need to worry that your child is too old! Because of the open-ended nature of the activities, most projects are suitable and tons of fun for children age 4-12 years.

Perfect for siblings to enjoy time together, for parent/grandparent & child or as a creative playdate with a friend!

Come check it out! Pick a project and have a blast!!

Sinterklaas with the Community Arts Council

Free admission, free parking… get ready for a special holiday event!

Who will YOU be Sinterklaas to this holiday season? Our 50+ artists and crafters will have a wonderful selection of handmade items for gift-giving to the special people in your life!

Enter the world of Sint Nicolaas or Sinterklaas at our first Holiday artist and crafter event. A traditional winter holiday figure in Dutch-speaking Europe, Sinterklaas is the basis of the mythical holiday figure of Santa Claus in the United States.

In Europe, Sinterklaas arrives from Spain in a boat and has a white horse that can walk across rooftops. Every child puts his shoe at the chimney (or the window), sings a song, and goes to bed. While the child sleeps, Sinterklaas comes and puts a present in the shoe.

Watch for special activities at our Sinterklaas!
