Wine + Paint: Mickey & Minnie @ Grapes & Hops

We love Disney. For the first time, we will be doing a two canvass painting for each person:). One Minnie and one Mickey:). This will be super fun and cute as a mouse!

Things To Remember:

1. These SELL-OUT quickly.

2. Seating is first come-first serve so if you are coming with others, arrive early to guarantee that you all get to sit together. Of course, there will be a seat for everyone that purchases a ticket. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit with your group.

3. Class sizes range from 40-50 so keep in mind that we instruct in smaller groups and it takes some time to get around the room. Thankfully, we have plenty of things to enjoy while hanging out. We do guarantee that it will be done within 3 hours (usually sooner)

You know this but we must toot our horn a little bit though…….Grapes & Hops presents to you the paint party that is all about you having fun, Wine + Paint. The ABSOLUTE best value in paint parties anywhere.

No artistic ability needed. Just come ready to have fun and relax in great atmosphere all at the same time. Your ticket includes everything needed to paint with light instruction. Craft beer, wine, craft whiskey, wine slushies, craft soda & artisan cheese will be available for additional purchase at Grapes & Hops.

Check out the painting in the event discussion.

You can call to buy tickets, follow the Eventbrite link or stop in.

Auditions – KVTA’s Narnia @ Kankakee Valley Theatre Association
Jan 25 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Director: Rozy Labriola
Assistant Director: Beth Sutter
Vocal Director: Bonnie Brewer
Choreographer: Jana Oates

NARNIA: The Musical is a 70-minute dramatization of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the first and most famous of acclaimed British author C.S. Lewis’s world-renowned series, The Chronicles of Narnia. It tells of four English schoolchildren – brothers and sisters – sent away from London during World War II to stay in the manor house of their uncle – who stumble upon (and through) a wardrobe into the magical kingdom of Narnia, held in the power of the White Witch, whose evil spell has frozen the land, so that it is “always winter – and never Christmas.” They are embraced by the talking animals, the good Narnians who resist the Witch’s evil and await the return of Aslan – the Great Lion, who is their rightful ruler. Aslan, who has long been absent from his land (so that some have even doubted his existence) has – at last! – returned, to confront the Witch, and the children are soon caught up in a fierce struggle of good versus evil. In this spellbound landscape, filled with creatures of myth and fable, the children face temptation and fear, but learn deep lessons of courage, unselfishness, and wisdom that help them grow in spirit and prepare them for life in our world. Narnia wants to sing, and from the excitement of the opening number “Doors and Windows”, to the poetry of “Narnia (You Can’t Imagine),” to the stirring “To Make the World Right Again,” your spirits will soar with all those in this enchanted land.
